Easily delete fields and pages from your form Templates
Mistakes happen! Whether you need to remove a few fields or an entire page from your form template, it's essential to do it correctly, especially when working with offline mobile forms where accuracy is key. While deleting is a simple task in the GoFormz Template Editor, following the proper steps is essential to avoid removing more than intended. Here's how to safely and efficiently delete fields and pages in your GoFormz Templates.
Deleting Fields
There are a couple of ways to delete a form field within your digital form Template:
Deleting a single field:
Select the form field: In the Template Editor, select the form field you wish to remove, and click the delete button on your keyboard.
Existing Fields navigation: The other way to remove a single form field is through the Template Fields panel on the left side of the Template Editor. Select ‘Existing’, select the form field you wish to remove, and click delete.
Deleting multiple fields:
On a Windows computer: Hold down the [Control] key while clicking on the desired fields, then click delete.
On a Mac computer: Hold down the [Command] key while clicking on the desired fields, then click delete.
Deleting Pages from Form Templates
Open the Template Editor: Open your GoFormz account and navigate to the Templates section.
Access the Page Editor: In the Template Editor, locate and click the Page Editor button on the left side of your screen.
Select the Page: Click on the page you want to delete on the right panel of your screen.
Delete the Page: Delete the page by selecting the Delete button on your keyboard.
